State Crime Commands' Drug Squad Issue Drug Warning

The State Crime Command’s Drug Squad has today issued a drug warning after recent seizures of tablets which contained

dangerous levels of 25c-NBOMe, an extremely potent psychoactive substance responsible for a number of deaths in

Australia and overseas.

The tablets, which are light blue in colour and are stamped with a batman logo, are being sold to drug users as a form of ecstasy.The Commander of the Drug Squad, Detective Superintendent Tony Cooke, said there had been cases both here in Australia

and overseas where people affected by the NBOMe class of drug had died.
