Event Security Guard

14th - 15th April 2023, Toowoomba Showgrounds

Love Live Music? Come join our Team as we take on the weekends over summer with tunes and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

This is a 2 day, food event based in the Toowoomba Showgrounds with a focus on BBQ'd meat. The event focuses around cooking, BBQ culture and features a single stage for live music. Security Guards must be focused and part of the operational requirements of the team. Roles may include static, patrolling or response work. Example of positions: crowd control, monitoring, ID/bag checks, barrier, RSA or response.

Requirements:
  • QLD Crowd Controller & Security Officer (Unarmed) Security Licence
  • RSA
  • Completion of Online Event Induction
Shifts:
  • Rostered shifts will be 12 hours in length
  • Camping Sites in Staff Security Area available (BYO camping supplies)

North Coast Security Guard - Response, Patrol & Gatehouse Duties

Ongoing Position

A remote site in the North Coast, this role oversees an accomodation site; Interacting with residents, the general public, social workers and site management staff.

Role:

Security are responsible for overseeing the security and integrity of the site. This often requires de-escalation skills when addressing heightened emotional parties. Maintaining the security of the site requires an active role from the guard, speaking to all entrants to the property and becoming familiar with residents. An active engagement on patrols and reporting on the activities on site will be key to your success in the role.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to; preventing trespass, monitoring and logging visitors to the site, responding to incidents, providing first aid when required, completing foot patrols & NFC tag scanning across site, report writing (both operational logs & incident reports), monitoring of the site and working with the Reddawn management on what site improvements can be implemented.

Requirements:

  • NSW 1AC Security Licence
  • Current First Aid
  • Working with Children's Check
